Community Grant

The Community Grant supports registered groups delivering programs and services that keep Mississauga residents active, healthy and engaged in their communities through recreation and sport, parks and forestry or environmental activities.

If your group is registered through the Community Group Registry Program, you can apply for annual or, if invited, multi-year grants.

Who can apply

To apply, your organization must be:

  • Registered and in good standing in the Community Group Registry Program at the time of approval
  • A legally incorporated not-for-profit community group operating for at least 4 years
  • Based and active in Mississauga
  • Be in good standing with the City
  • Financially sustainable with no major deficit

How to apply

The 2025 Community Grant program will open on August 26, 2024.

The deadline to submit your application is October 11, 2024, at 4:30 p.m.
