If you’re walking five to eight dogs at a time in a leash-free zone, you’ll need a dog walker permit. Commercial dog walkers are permitted to use leash-free zones Monday to Friday, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
The fee for one dog walker permit is $349.59 for Mississauga residents and $384.59 for non-residents. For each additional dog walker associated with the original permit, there’s a charge of $69.92 for Mississauga residents or $76.96 for non-residents.
To apply for a permit, fill out the dog walker permit application and submit it via email to Parks.CommunityDevelopment@mississauga.ca .
