Mississauga Fire and Emergency Services Celebrates Staff and New Recruits

Entertainment and activities | June 20, 2016

This Thursday evening is a big night for Mississauga Fire and Emergency Services (MFES) as they welcome 15 new recruits to the team and celebrate staff in an achievement ceremony being held at Harding Waterfront Estate.

During the ceremony, MFES will recognize long-service staff (10 to 45 years), recently promoted and retired staff and new hires. The celebration will also highlight the graduation of 15 fire recruits, who recently completed a 12-week training course to become full-time firefighters with MFES.
