Extensions of Redmond Road, Webb Drive, The Exchange and Kariya Drive

The City has completed four studies to plan for the existing and future transportation needs in Mississauga's downtown, including the proposed extensions of Redmond Road, Webb Drive, The Exchange and Kariya Drive.

Municipal Class Environmental Assessment Studies for the Extensions of Redmond Road, Webb Drive, The Exchange and Kariya Drive Map

The study areas, as shown on the key plan, include:

  • Project 1 – Redmond Road from Webb Drive to Burnhamthorpe Road
  • Project 2 – Webb Drive from Duke of York Boulevard to Kariya Drive
  • Project 3 – The Exchange from City Centre Drive to Webb Drive
  • Project 4 – Kariya Drive from Elm Drive to Central Parkway

The studies were carried out in accordance with the requirements of a Schedule B undertaking as outlined in the Municipal Engineers Association Municipal Class Environmental Assessment Manual (October 2000, as amended 2007, 2011 and 2015), which is an approved process under the Ontario Environmental Assessment Act.
