Stay Safe When You Skate: Outdoor Skating in Mississauga

City services | December 16, 2020

As the weather gets colder, exercise and mental health remain a priority.  Mississauga has many opportunities to skate outdoors on both outdoor and natural ice rinks for you to enjoy while ensuring that current COVID-19 public health measures are followed.

When outdoors, it is crucial that residents observe outdoor etiquette to help keep everyone safe. This includes only having close contact with people in your household or essential supports, staying a safe distance of two metres (six feet) from others, wearing a face covering and staying home if you are ill and getting tested if you have symptoms of COVID-19.

Natural Ice Rinks

Skating can take place at one of 35 outdoor rinks in Mississauga, including those highlighted below. Natural rinks are free to the public and maintained by resident volunteers. All natural rinks will be open by December 15, 2020, 7 a.m. to 11 p.m. daily, weather permitting. If a rink is busy, please return at a time when you can maintain physical distancing.
