Get vaccinated

First and second doses

Everyone aged six months or older can receive a first or second dose of the COVID-19 vaccine.

Booster doses (third and fourth doses of the vaccine)

Booster doses provide extra protection and can help prevent severe outcomes from COVID-19 and its variants.

As of September 1, 2022, the Ontario government has expanded eligibility for a third dose of the vaccine (or first booster) to include children aged five to 11.

All individuals aged 18 and over may be eligible to receive a fourth dose (or second booster).

• Pop-up clinics
• School vaccine clinics
• Pharmacies and primary care providers
• Peel Public Health in-home appointments for homebound residents

Vaccine certificate

Businesses and organizations are no longer required to enforce proof of vaccination, however are permitted to continue doing so. As such, you may be asked to show proof of vaccination.

If you were vaccinated in Ontario, you can get your vaccine certificate by logging in to the province’s online portal. You can print your vaccine certificate for free at any Mississauga Library location.
