Coloured architectural glass and bronze
Seven different Mississauga Transitway stations
Building Colour is a multi-media artwork that uses a combination of sculptural components made of cast and fabricated bronze, architectural glass, colour changing LED lighting and touch sensitive triggers to engage the audience.
Throughout the stations, various tools and equipment for glass installation are scattered, simulating a work site momentarily unoccupied by its workers. The public is to envision witnessing a change taking place as the predominantly clear glass of the stations is being replaced with coloured glass.
