Guide and Scout programs

Our Guide and Scout programs feature historic cooking and crafts and tours of heritage houses. These programs are offered evenings and weekends at Bradley Museum or Benares Historic House.

Fees

1.5-hour programs are $6.70 per child
2-hour programs are $7.00 per child

Up to six adults are included for free per group. Separate fees apply for the overnight program.

Program descriptions

Explore how museums use research, artifact collections and programming to share local history through a series of interactive activities which will take participants around the museum in a scavenger hunt style game.

Arrive on a Friday or Saturday night for a sleepover at the Log Cabin. A pizza dinner and access to our fire pit are provided on the night of your arrival. The next morning, participants make a pancake breakfast and enjoy a program in the Bradley House. After the program, museum staff will cook a hot dog lunch with participants over the fire. All participants and leaders will receive a Log Cabin Overnight Crest.
