Dreamland

Dreamland is an exhibition centred around the works of Black, Indigenous and POC artists and residents in Mississauga.

This exhibition conceptualizes the use of public spaces that propose associations between the immigrant or refugee in a western world. The research of a Dreamland illustrate new ways to understand the passage of one space to another, the move from a home to a house both in public and private, while learning stories of trauma and transformation. Dreamland asks: it possible to exist in two places at one time?

In addition to the exhibition, a workshop entitled A Space to Dream Out Loud will be held on Saturday, February 10.

Multiple day event Feb 6 - Feb 9, 2024
