Not-for-profit arts, culture and community organizations requiring financial support for the 2024 calendar year are encouraged to apply for the City of Mississauga’s 2024 Culture and Community Grant Programs.
New for 2024 grants is the theme “Celebrate 50”, which aims to support arts and culture initiatives related to the City’s 50th anniversary next year. Groups applying for other grant streams in 2024 can also align their activities with the anniversary. 2024 also marks the second year of the Live Music Grant pilot program, which supports for-profit concert presenters as a part of the City’s Music Strategy.
Organizations interested in applying to a grant program are required to attend a virtual information webinar, unless they were awarded funding from the City within the last two years. Interested groups are asked to submit their applications online on the grants portal by Friday, October 13, 2023 at 4:30 p.m.
“Our grant programs provide community groups in the arts, culture and community space with the funding they need to develop community programs and projects,” said Jodi Robillos, Commissioner, Community Services. “For some, this funding helps sustain their day-to-day operations and even helps fund initiatives they may otherwise not have had the ability to run, which in turn helps provide much-needed services to the community.”
Application guidelines for each of the six grant programs are included below. To attend a virtual information webinar, please register via the links below.
