The City of Mississauga is pleased to announce Asad Qureshi as the City’s new Director of Facilities and Property Management effective October 23, 2023. He replaces Raj Sheth who became the City’s Commissioner of Corporate Services earlier this year.
“I am pleased to welcome Asad to the City of Mississauga where he will use his more than 20 years of experience to oversee facilities management with a focus on building and renovating the libraries, fire stations, community centres and other city buildings our residents and employees rely on,” said Raj Sheth, Commissioner, Corporate Services. “Asad’s leadership will also play a key role in helping the City as we work to advance our Climate Change Action Plan by reducing energy usage and greenhouse gas emissions across our portfolio.”

“I’m thrilled to be joining the City of Mississauga at this exciting time,” said Qureshi. “I’m looking forward to helping the City move the needle on its climate change priorities and having the opportunity to make a difference in the everyday lives of Mississauga residents by ensuring City facilities are well-maintained, safe and accessible.”
