Dogs wanted: Bring your furry friend to an outdoor pool ‘paw’ty for a good cause 

Mississauga is hosting its annual Dogs Only Swim event on Saturday, September 9 at the Lion’s Club of Credit Valley Outdoor Pool.

If your dog could use some excitement, exercise and an opportunity to socialize with other dogs, then this event is perfect for you! Since the launch of Mississauga’s Dog Swim in 2019, this event has brought the community together annually for a good cause. Donations collected online or in-person during the registration process will go towards Mississauga Animal Services (SCARF).

Space is limited, so dog owners should register prior to the event, if possible.

To participate in the event, dog owners must complete a mandatory waiver form and adhere to all Dog Swim Pool Rules. Remember, dogs must be vaccinated, as outlined in the Dog Swim Pool Rules by the City of Mississauga.

Note: People are not permitted in the pool but may watch from the deck.

Cost:

Please make a donation to Mississauga Animal Services (SCARF).

Your generous donations will:

• Purchase shelter items and medications for the animals
• Provide extra veterinary care and specialized surgeries
• Support spay and neuter of adoption animals
• Provide funds to the animal foster care program for specialized diets and care
• Fund animal housing improvements

Note: Donations are not required but encouraged.

9:45  – 10:45 a.m.
11 a.m. – 12 p.m. (Noon)
12:15 – 1:15 p.m.
1:30 – 2:30 p.m.
2:45 – 3:45 p.m.
