Video: Flooding Public Information Session – staff presentation

The City of Mississauga's Flooding Public Information Session took place on November 13, 2024. If you were unable to attend the event, the City has now posted a video of a portion of the evening below to help you learn more about preparing for and preventing future flood damage.

On November 13, the City of Mississauga held a public information session alongside community partners to help residents prepare for and prevent damage to their homes due to sudden, extreme flooding.

If you were unable to attend the event, the City has now posted a video of a portion of the evening below. Included in the video are:

  • Greetings and a message around extreme flooding and rain from Mayor Carolyn Parrish.
  • Staff presentation from The City of Mississauga Office of Emergency Management and Stormwater Management Departments around flood preparation, prevention and recovery.
