Mark your calendars! March Break is around the corner

Take part in a week-long schedule of family fun featuring a variety of things to do

From March 8 to 16, the City of Mississauga is offering a variety of interactive programs and activities leading up to March Break and beyond. With a range of family-friendly options, its the perfect opportunity to have fun and make the most of your mini vacation!

First stop: Celebration Square

Enjoy the final week of Winter Magic at Celebration Square with free skating on the City’s largest ice rink (weather dependent), tasty treats at the food trucks and cozy heated patios. Skates are available for rent onsite.

Drop-in activities

Enjoy swimming and skating programs all week long – including a youth squash clinic for all skill levels. Due to limited space, activities are on a first-come, first served basis. Arrive early to avoid disappointment. View the drop-in calendar

Library programs

Stop by your local library for free interactive programs, entertaining performances, live shows and more. Drop-ins are on a first come, first served basis. Check Active Mississauga for a full list of activities and program times.

Maple Magic Festival

Mississauga’s annual maple syrup festival is back with a variety of maple-themed activities for all ages. Learn about the Indigenous origins of the maple harvest, experience the process of making maple syrup, indulge in pancakes with real maple syrup, enjoy crafts, games and guided tours of the site. Catch a live show

Prefer staying cozy indoors? Spark your family’s love for live events with magical indoor shows at the Living Arts Centre or Meadowvale Theatre.

This March Break, don’t miss the opportunity to enjoy the musical adventure of Jim Henson’s Fraggle Rock: Back to the Rock LIVE! Heartwarming fun for the whole family, the beloved Fraggles – Gobo, Red, Mokey, Wembley and Boober – will take you on a journey filled with music, puppetry and fun!
