UPDATE – February 15, 9 p.m.
Due to the heavy snow forecasted for much of southern Ontario tomorrow, the following City of Mississauga facilities will be closed on Sunday February 16:
City Hall will remain open from 8 a.m. – 7 p.m.
Where possible, cancelled classes will be rescheduled. Those with facility bookings will be contacted. Scheduled rentals may be cancelled without penalty by contacting the Customer Service Centre at 905-615-4100 or by email at facility.rentals@mississauga.ca.
In addition, MiWay Transit buses may also be delayed due to the weather. Please visit the MiWay Service Updates page throughout the coming days for information on route delays.
Monday, February 17 is Family Day and despite the snow over the last few days, Mississauga is still the place to be. Weather pending, the City is offering programming the whole family will enjoy. From recreation and sports to arts and creative activities – there’s something for everyone. Enjoy some great free family programming at our community centres or get some fresh air skating at Celebration Square while a DJ spins some tunes.
