Mississauga updates response to Ontario Housing Affordability Task Force recommendations

The City of Mississauga has submitted an updated response to the Ontario Housing Affordability Task Force report recommendations.

The response was prepared following a request from the Minister of Municipal Affairs and Housing (MMAH). The Minister’s request, which was sent to 50 of Ontario’s fastest-growing municipalities, asked for feedback on each of the 74 Task Force recommendations as well as a prioritized list of the City’s top five recommendations moving forward.

Housing affordability is a key priority for the City. The City’s top five recommendations support actions that have the potential to deliver the most impact to address housing demand and supply in the shortest timeframe.
