Time change reminder for Planning and Development Committee meetings

Earlier this year, City Council approved a Notice of Motion to move Planning and Development Committee (PDC) meetings to the afternoon to be held during business hours, aligning with other municipal business services and practices.

Beginning with the April 28 meeting, all PDC meetings will be held at 1:30 p.m. However, at the discretion of the Chair, an evening meeting may be scheduled for 6 p.m., if requested by a member of Council or deemed necessary.

Planning and Development Committee makes recommendations to Council about planning policies, by-laws and development applications. You may join the meeting – in-person or online – to express your views on planning-related policies and development applications. The meetings are also streamed live on the City’s website and the video is made available after the meeting for on-demand viewing.
