The City of Mississauga’s public works professionals play an essential role in keeping us safe by building and maintaining the infrastructure, facilities and services we use and rely on everyday including roads, sidewalks, bike lanes, transit stops and stormwater infrastructure.
On Saturday, May 27, the City is celebrating these professionals and recognizing the important work they do with the return of its National Public Works Week Family Fun Day – and you’re invited!
As part of National Public Works Week (May 21-27, 2023), Family Fun Day provides you with an opportunity to meet City staff and learn more about their work through a variety of interactive family-friendly activities. Get up close to the equipment and trucks and join in on fun, educational activities.
