The City of Mississauga is currently seeking a citizen to sit on the following Board for a term of office for three years:
The City of Mississauga has a not-for-profit corporation for the purpose of promoting Mississauga as a tourist destination. Tourism Mississauga, funded by the Municipal Accommodation Tax, will be responsible for pursuing events, conferences and attractions, marketing and promoting Mississauga, providing visitor services and administering funding programs. Tourism Mississauga is now accepting applications for an individual to represent the Attractions/Festival/Events Sector. Applicants should be employed or have experience in tourism or a related sector.
Not employed by the City of Mississauga or Region of Peel, and must represent a relevant tourism sector in the City including:
