Request to speak at Council or Committee meetings

You can request to speak at Mississauga City Council or at a Committee of Council.

We’ll need eight business days’ notice prior to the meeting you wish to speak at. Refer to the Council and Committees calendar to view a full list of meeting dates.

If you want to speak at a Planning and Development Committee meeting, please email deputations.presentations@mississauga.ca.

How long it takes

Once you submit your request, we’ll email the meeting date and details to you within five business days.

  • Council and committee meetings are streamed and posted online and minutes are produced
  • Council meetings are televised

Your personal information is collected under the authority of sections 11(1) and 227(c) of the Municipal Act, 2001 and will be used by City of Mississauga Staff to respond to your service request and/or inquiry.
