Learn more about the diverse trees at Hancock Woodlands and how you can help protect Mississauga’s beautiful urban forests by choosing non-invasive plants for your garden. Join a guided tour of the park with City of Mississauga Forestry staff, offered at 10:30 a.m and 11:00 a.m.
At 10:30 a.m. at Iggy Kaneff Park, join Visual Arts Mississauga and the Sauga EnPlein Air Painting Group for a live demonstration of plein air painting including a brief history and instructions on basic composition. Materials will be on hand for participants to experiment with the unique craft of painting en plein air. Plein Air painters will also be painting at the park throughout the event. Exhibitors will also be onsite at Iggy Kaneff Park from the following local horticulture groups:
Please note: There is limited parking available at Hancock Woodlands. Parking is available in Corsair Public School parking lot.
