Technology and resources

Access technology and resources available at Erin Meadows Library to support your needs and interests, and easily return your borrowed library materials at your convenience.

You can return borrowed library materials at any time using our drop box located outside the library. Items returned outside of regular operating hours will be processed on the next business day.

Bring your designs to life with our 3D printers.

With a 3D printer you can print digital designs into three dimensional objects. Our printers are installed with Cura software and can accept print jobs that take up to eight hours to finish.

Accessible technology
All library locations have accessible computer workstations which include a large print keyboard and magnifier software that enlarges, enhances, and reads aloud everything on your computer screen, among other services below.

All workstations include the following hardware and software:

  • Height-Adjustable
  • ZoomText keyboard (large print)
  • Trackball Mouse (upon request)
  • Scanner
  • NVDA Screen reading software
  • Dragon Naturally Speaking Speech recognition software
  • Zoom text magnifier software
  • Kurzweil 3000 learning software
  • All public workstation software

Computers are available on a drop-in basis, but you can also use your library card to book a computer.

Erin Meadows Library offers print, scan and photocopy services. You can print your documents using a library computer or your own device and can pay for the service using your Library Print Account.

Erin Meadows Library has one study room with individual study carrels (small cubicles) for eight people. 

Quiet study rooms are available on a first-come, first-served, drop-in basis.

Carrels (small cubicles) are available on a first-come, first-served, drop-in basis.

Each cubicle has a power outlet.
