Starting September 1, Lorne Park Library will undergo renovations to the roof, HVAC system and some interior improvements. To ensure safety, the library will be temporarily closed on Sundays, Mondays and Tuesdays.
Library services remain available at all other locations. While holds can still be picked up at Lorne Park Library when open, you may change your holds pick-up to an alternative location. Due dates for items checked out from Lorne Park Library will be extended on closed dates. The returns bin will remain open for most of the renovation.

Since 1956, Lorne Park Library has been serving neighbourhood communities near the south of the Queen Elizabeth Way. From 2009 to 2011, the building was redesigned to blend history and modern design in a harmonious way. It provides future generation of library users a place of communal learning and reading.
