Access technology and resources available at Mississauga Valley Library to support your needs and interests, and easily return your borrowed library materials at your convenience.

You can return borrowed library materials at any time using our self-return drop box located outside the library. Items returned outside of regular operating hours will be processed on the next business day.

Accessible public computers

All our computers are equipped with large-print keyboards and ZoomText readers that enlarge, enhance and read aloud everything on the screen.

Assistive workstation

At our assistive workstation you’ll find:

  • Noise-cancelling headset and microphone
  • Accessible mouse and keyboard
  • Scanner
  • Screen-reading software
  • Speech recognition software
  • ZoomText magnifier
  • Public workstation software

Computers are available on a drop-in basis, but you can also use your library card to book a computer.

Get a boost of sunshine through our light therapy lamps. You can sit next to a lamp and enjoy the benefits while you read or work in the library.

Light therapy lamps emit light that mimics outdoor light. They are known to help lift your mood and reduce symptoms of Seasonal Affective Disorder (SAD) during Fall and Winter seasons.

Areas with light therapy lamps are available on a first-come, first-served, drop-in basis.

Mississauga Valley Library offers print, scan and photocopy services. You can print your documents using a library computer or your own device and can pay for the service using your Library Print Account.

You can learn more about printing and photocopying and the Library Print Account.
