Metrolinx will be temporarily closing Renforth Station from Monday, Sept. 23 to Friday, Nov. 1 for construction and various MiWay routes will be impacted.
Due to this construction, the four transitway stations east of Dixie Station—Tahoe, Etobicoke Creek, Spectrum and Orbitor—will also be closed since buses won’t be able to exit the Mississauga Transitway at Renforth Station. Instead, buses will exit east of Dixie Station.
Routes 107 Malton Express and 109 Meadowvale Express will be on detour and will service existing bus stops along Eglinton Avenue.
Routing on the routes servicing Renforth Station (Routes 7, 39, 43, 74, 107 and 109) will be detoured to service on-street bus stops near the station on Commerce Boulevard and Skymark Avenue.
Due to the closure of Renforth Station, Routes 107 Malton Express and 109 Meadowvale Express will exit the transitway east of Dixie Station and travel along Eglinton Avenue to and from Renforth Station.
Tahoe, Etobicoke Creek, Spectrum and Orbitor Stations will also be closed, since Routes 107 and 109 will be detoured from serving this section of the transitway. There will be no service at these four stations during the Renforth Station construction period.
