MiWay is addressing significant ridership growth with enhancements outlined in the 2025 Annual Transit Service Plan and the Transitway Wayfinding Study, aiming to improve service delivery and customer experience to meet the evolving needs of customers.
To address customer demand, MiWay is proposing the following service improvements, which are planned for implementation between April 2025 and April 2026:
MiWay is also working with a consultant to update directional signage for Mississauga Transitway Stations to improve signage and make it easier for customers to navigate. The study covers the City Centre Transit Terminal (CCTT) near Square One and eight City-owned and operated Transitway stations, from Central Parkway to Orbitor Station. It includes reviewing the current signage, creating a wayfinding master plan, and developing an implementation plan. The study is expected to finish by March 2025, with details about implementation to follow.
