Starting Friday, January 7, MiWay will be suspending service on Routes 101/101A Dundas Express and 107 Malton Express, as well as reducing service frequency on Route 103 Hurontario Express, in response to staff shortages due to COVID-19 related absences and self-isolation requirements.
In order to deliver more reliable service where it is needed most, these changes have been temporarily implemented to free up resources for re-allocation. MiWay remains committed to monitoring all routes in the transit network so that available resources are allocated in the most effective way possible.
These reductions will be in effect until further notice.
Some customers will also experience delays due to an increase in cancelled trips on other routes. Customers are encouraged to check for real-time schedule information and updates using MiWay’s trip planner.
