We’re committed to enhancing transit to better serve our customers. Building on the success of the previous MiWay 5-Year Service Plan, a new service plan is being developed to shape the future of transit in Mississauga.
MiWay Five Plus, the new transit service master plan, will include short-term (2026-2030) and medium-term (2031-2035) improvements aimed at growing the system and improving connectivity to deliver a fast, efficient, and easy-to-use transit service.
The development of MiWay Five Plus involves reviewing current transit services and infrastructure, gathering feedback and data to identify trends, and collaborating with stakeholders to implement sustainable solutions.
The plan aims to achieve the following:
- Enhance and expand the MiWay service network and infrastructure
- Integrate and strengthen connections and infrastructure
- Improve customer experience and service delivery
