MiWay Service Update

Customer demand for MiWay service is increasing rapidly in various areas of Mississauga. Ridership levels on several routes are much higher in September 2022 than they were prior to the COVID-19 pandemic. MiWay staff are continuously monitoring the network and working to ensure that resources are allocated to where and when service is most needed.

This continuing ridership growth, coupled with staffing challenges and resource constraints, has led MiWay to implement unplanned trip cancellations on various routes to remain responsive to overall customer demand trends. Service updates, listed by route, are posted at miway.ca/updates.

MiWay service planning and operations staff are working together daily to allocate resources as effectively as possible, and to minimize unplanned cancellations so that customers can travel to their destinations reliably. MiWay is committed to providing reliable and on-time service as part of our Customer Charter and keeping customers informed of changes.
