Background

As the City of Mississauga continues to grow, the need for essential services continues to rise. Station 123 will serve a high density area and is being strategically placed at The Collegeway and Winston Churchill Boulevard to provide faster initial response to residents in the area.

The construction of Station 123 is part of a City-wide plan to build six new fire stations over the next 12 years to optimize emergency response times. Station 123 and other stations across Mississauga will further improve response times to meet the goal of first truck response in four minutes or less, 75% of the time.

Station 123 is being designed with an environmentally responsible approach, achieves net zero energy, and meets the City’s Corporate Green Building Standard.

Once completed, Station 123 will be the City’s twenty-third fire station.
