Overview
The City is proposing park improvements to Dellwood Park (Ward 1), including a dedicated pickle ball court. Funding by the Government of Canada has been allocated for this project by the Ward 1 Councillor.
The park improvements will include the following features:
- Sports pad resurfacing
- Two 3-vs-3 basketball courts
- New pickle ball court
- New pathway connection
- Winter ice rink (natural rink over the basketball courts)
- Benches
These improvements, expected to be completed in spring 2024, will enhance visitors’ experiences in the park and provide outdoor recreation and fitness opportunities in support of active lifestyles.
