The City of Mississauga is continuing to transform into a bicycle-friendly city, where people can choose to cycle for recreation, fitness and daily transportation needs.

Background
In 2018, the City completed the Cycling Master Plan Update project. Since then, the City has been working towards building the cycling network, which includes 897 kilometres of infrastructure, through various projects around Mississauga. Projects include those led by the City’s Transportation and Works department and Community Services department, and those pursued in partnership with the Peel Region.
