65+ Fit membership

Early registration

Register early for your 65+ Fit membership starting March 17, 2025. Your membership will be active on April 1, 2025.

If you’re 65 years or older and live in Mississauga, you can enjoy free fitness opportunities designed to keep you moving and feeling great.


Membership features and benefits

  • Free fitness classes at the Mississauga Seniors’ Centre
  • Access to all other activities at the Mississauga Seniors’ Centre (at an additional cost)
  • Virtual fitness classes
  • Free 45-minute fitness consultation with a personal trainer
  • Over 400 drop-in group exercise classes each week
  • Fully equipped weight and cardio equipment rooms
  • Indoor walking tracks
  • Squash courts
  • Complimentary squash ladder
  • Unlimited drop-in recreational swims (except therapeutic times)
  • Unlimited drop-in recreational skates (except hockey stick & puck or shinny)
  • Dry saunas and steam rooms
  • Unlimited access to 13 locations

Drop-in programming

  • Standard drop-in fees apply for activities outside of the membership, such as Shinny Hockey, Pickleball and Aquafitness
  • Registered program fees remain unchanged, with a 20% discount on fitness, therapeutic, aquafitness and adult Swim For Life Group lessons for 65+ Fit, Fit, Fit+, Wellness, and All-in membership holders
  • Fitness classes operate on a drop-in basis only (reservations not available)

The 65+ Fit membership is free for Mississauga residents.


How to get the membership

To get this membership, visit a community centre with a proof of residency that proves you live in Mississauga and proof of identity that proves who you are.

Documents needed to register (most current originals)

For proof of residency, choose one from this list:

  • Mortgage or rental/lease agreement
  • Utility bill (hydro, gas or water)
  • Property tax bill
  • Insurance policy (home, tenant or auto)
  • Valid Ontario driver’s licence
  • Valid Ontario photo card

For proof of identity, choose one from this list:

  • Driver’s licence
  • Ontario photo card
  • Passport
  • Canada permanent resident card
  • Canadian birth certificate (must be presented with a valid piece of photo ID)
  • Provincial health card (green photo cards only)

Memberships renewals and cards

  • You must renew membership every year.
  • A lost card replacement fee may apply if you lose your membership card and need it replaced the same year it was issued.

How to cancel your membership

You can cancel your membership at any time without a fee. To cancel your membership visit a community centre or call 905-615-4100 (select option 1).

If you have another membership, you may receive a pro-rated refund as of the date you cancel it. The 65+ Fit membership has no cash value.
