A Shower Access Pass can be requested at select recreation locations at no cost for those who are unhoused. Request the pass at the reception desk during operating hours. Shower hours vary by location and are subject to change. Details below.
The Open Window Hub is a resource and information centre provided by three Mississauga Library locations that support and empower those who are unhoused or experiencing mental health issues. Visit our website or call 905-615-3200, ext. 3541, for more information.
If you are in need or worried about someone who is unhoused, call the Region of Peel Street Helpline at 1-877-848-8481. The helpline is available 24 hours a day.
Call 211 or the Region of Peel at 905-791-7800 or visit peelregion.ca for programs that distribute free groceries or vouchers to eligible individuals and families with low incomes.
Call 905-453-1300, or 1-888-919-7800 toll-free, or visit the Region of Peel’s housing and social support for housing support. Access emergency and transitional shelters, street outreach, help to find permanent housing, and other support services.
