Live Music Grant

The Live Music Grant pilot program provides funding to offset eligible expenses associated with the presentation of safe and inclusive live music events to Mississauga residents and visitors.

Who can apply

You can apply for this grant if you are a new or established concert presenter and the concert:

  • Features a minimum of 50% Mississauga-based musicians
  • Takes place in Mississauga
  • Operates on a for-profit model

A new or established concert presenter includes musicians, music venues, bars, restaurants or concert production businesses.

How to apply

The 2025 Live Music Grant program will open on February 24, 2025. The deadline to submit an application is March 28, 2025 at 4:30 p.m.

Information webinars

Applicants that have not received a Live Music Grant before are required to attend one of the information sessions to be eligible for funding. Attendance will be noted.

All other applicants are strongly encouraged to attend one of the information sessions to hear about the grant process, requirements, tips for success and to ask questions.
