Residential tax distribution

Your residential property tax bill includes “levies” or charges that support the City of Mississauga, the Region of Peel and your local school boards. For the 2025 Budget, these levies are distributed as follows:

  • 37% to the City of Mississauga
  • 47% to the Region of Peel
  • 16% to Peel District School Board and Dufferin-Peel Catholic District School Board
