Guides

Before you attend remote court proceedings, review the Ontario Court of Justice’s Remote Court Appearances Guide for Participants.

If you are representing yourself in court, refer to the Ontario Court of Justice’s Guide for Self-Represented Parties.

Viewing options

There are two viewing options for Zoom meetings: gallery or speaker view.

  • Gallery view displays everyone in equally sized screens that adjust in size based on the number of participants
  • Speaker view displays the individual who is speaking in a large screen. Other participants are shown in smaller screens above the person speaking. The system automatically changes to display the person who is speaking.

Change the view

To change the view, click the “Gallery view/speaker view” button in the upper-right section of the screen. This will only change your view, it will not affect the other participants.
