Paid parking is in effect during peak hours to encourage parking turnover and help make parking available to all residents. Parking is free outside of posted hours.

How to pay

You can pay for on‑street parking with coins ($0.25, $1, $2) or major credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express) at all locations.

If the meter or payment machine is broken, call 311 (905‑615‑4311 outside city limits) to report it.

If you have a valid provincial accessible parking permit, you can park in metered and pay‑and‑display lots and garages for free.
