The City issues two types of parking tickets:
- Tickets that have a number beginning with the letter ‘P’ (Penalty Notices)
- Tickets that have a number beginning with the letter ‘M’ (Parking Infraction Notices). ‘M’ tickets are issued for parking offences at Pearson airport.
Parking tickets are usually processed right away and can be accessed online within minutes of being issued, so you can view, pay and dispute the ticket immediately.
Handwritten parking tickets can take up to five business days from the issue date to appear in the system before the option to pay or dispute is available. Check the system regularly to make sure you pay your ticket by the due date.
You can pay both types of parking tickets online, in person or by mail. You will need your ticket number.
